Oct. 10, 2018 -- EDITING: BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS
Because shooting conditions are not always ideal, many times images will require editing and artistic accents to create the ideal environment. I'm often asked what editing entails after proofs have been selected. Editing includes background and foreground clean-up, color and exposure correction, cropping (if needed), softening/smoothening of the skin, blemish, mole, and/or scar removal, teeth and sclera eye whitening, iris enhancement, and artistic accents. Here are some before and after photos to help you get an idea of what you can expect:
Oct. 14, 2018 -- Hanson String Theory Concert
Hanson is another one of my favorite bands that I grew up listening to. When I heard they were playing in my best friend's town right around her birthday I just couldn't resist surprising her with front row tickets to the show in Phoenix Arizona at the Comerica Theater. String Theory is the name of this tour and what makes this different than any other tour is that they are actually performing live with an orchestra. For this 2018/2019 tour, they are playing some old songs, new songs, and songs from their "Member's Only" EP's. The 2-hour long show was beautiful, inspirational and tells a story of their professional lives. I managed to get a few iPhone 7 photos from the performance and then edited them in Lightroom.

Oct. 4, 2018 -- DEF LEPPPARD/JOURNEY 2018 TOUR
When I heard my favorite band Def Leppard was coming to my town with Journey, I had to get tickets (2nd row of course). They played at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA. It was the first time I had ever been to the venue and it was unforgettable. Parking was actually made pretty easy through Parking Panda, $25 for no hassle parking in the west lot directly across the street from the Golden 1 center. Def Leppard put on an amazing high energy performance and the sound quality in the venue was phenomenal. The Setlist included songs from their Hysteria, Pyromania and Adrenalize albums. Here are some photos I managed to get. I did sneak out of there after the 4th Journey song because this venue was packed and I had parked at the very top of a very full parking garage and didn't want to have to fight my way out after the show but Journey was great and Arnel Pineda was very high energy. Nov. 4, 2018 -- MAGIC FUSION AT THE LOFT
I went toSouth Lake Tahoe for a much-needed vacation and while there I got to bike the 2-mile trail around the beautiful Spooner Lake, Golden grasses and Steller's Jay birds everywhere this time of year. I spent a little time at Zephyr Point Beach, where I spent summer after summer as a child at their cabins enjoying the private beach. But my most favorite part of this trip this year was watching Joel Ward perform at the Magic Fusion show at The Loft. This was the second live magic show I've seen. My first magic experience was in Vegas when I watched David Copperfield who was amazing and unbelievable but he never chose me to participate in any of his acts which was really disappointing because I love magic! This most recent experience was unforgettable and extra special for 2 reasons: 1. It was a very small and intimate venue 2. I had 2nd row and 3. I got to participate not once, but twice! Joel was a very likable guy, he mixes comedy in with his magic and it's the most amazing thing I've ever seen. It's safe to say that I can't wait to go back. They have performances year-round 7 nights a week. I highly recommend that you check it out.
